DEVELOPING GOAL-SETTING SKILLS WITH BELT TESTING
Belt testing provides an excellent exercise for kids to learn how to set and achieve goals.
Their self-esteem will continue to rise with each accomplishment as they witness their hard work pay off.
IMPROVED FOCUS AND SELF-CONTROL
Complex physical activities, such as martial arts, have proven to strengthen the brain's neural networks, helping kids improve their focus and self-control. This can be especially beneficial for kids with ADD/ADHD.
A STRONG SENSE OF RESPECT
The traditional nature of martial arts teaches kids respect in their classes, whether they are taking a bow or waiting patiently for the next set of instructions.
This sense of respect also helps kids improve their grades, while improving their listening skills at home and in school.

Martial Arts is not all about self-defense.
It’s about discipline, communication, respect and commitment.
It's about getting your kids into a routine.
A routine in which they socialize, learn, and sometimes do things that they don’t really enjoy.
Like being quiet when listening to the teacher...
Or repeating new moves 100's of times.
They may not always like it, because it will require them to be discplined

Our Little Champs are ages 5-7, and Juniors are ages 8-12
The exact opposite.
Students become more confident to stand up to bullies and have more humility and kindness to others through their martial arts lessons.
As they learn to respect the classmates and work as a team, your kids will develop social skills and respect towards others, rather than using their abilities in a bad way.
Great Question. It is going to be a combination of both of fun, and sometimes, less fun.
Fun = Games and activities
Less Fun = Being quiet during class, learning new moves and repeating them, respecting class members, etc.
You will be able to watch your kids during the classes and see their progress.
No, our classes are a good mix of boys and girls of all fitness levels. Beginners train alongside some of the more experienced kids, helping each other out in a fun team environment.
Make sure your kids wear comfortable clothes they can do sports in.
Be sure to bring a water bottle to your martial arts classes.
We encourage parents to watch their children in their kids martial arts lessons, as we love parents getting involved!
If you want some ‘me-time’? Simply drop them off, and go grab a coffee (;
